The joy of the act of creation
Almost instantly, as it happens, a spark, a light, a little glimmer of magic is felt by the creator yes, but it also ripples out across the universe.
What comes before it - is the work. It is the determination, the drive. Mustering the courage, the skill and ideation. Whether it’s a deliberate pathway or not, is completely irrelevant. A woman doesn’t set out to “do the work” of successfully completing puberty, but nevertheless, the work is required, before the creation. She doesn’t need to coax or summon the sperm to the egg, it is predetermined. The effort and direction can be intrinsic, or intuitive. Sometimes we do not know what we are readying ourselves for. Or what the world is readying itself for. And yet, the work continues.
We must believe that the creation is divine, that it will be what is needed. It will play its part and we will have done our job as a vessel or a witness. Or both.
But regardless of our role in the miracle of creation, that moment of birth into this reality, that split second as it comes to pass, the universe rejoices. And we ourselves feel it. The waves of joy, of relief, of completion, flow outward and wash over those who surround it. The most significant of impact is maybe to those closest to the creation. Perhaps those who played the integral role in its birth, but not only them. Like a cascade of dominoes, the effect is magnificent and hypnotic. I would contend, it is a message where no information is lost, where no energy is misplaced.
Create something if you want to experience it. Draw. Paint, Write, Bake, Speak, Bring life to this world, or even simply, sit and bear witness to the unfolding around you and the cascade of life force as it moves throughout this universe.
